FRIDAY 30TH JUNE

At the award winning Senara Restaurant in Penzance a proper team of local chefs are hitting the kitchens to serve up five courses.  Each chef will present a course that is true to their unique talent and inspiration.Joining Jude in the kitchen is Tom Brown from Outlaw’s at the Capital, Stephane Delourme and Stuart Pate from The Seafood Restaurant and Guy Owen from Idle Rocks.  All big players in the food scene down here in Cornwall.

Senara is part of Truro and Penwith College and as a training college for the rising culinary stars of the future it’s only right that the college introduces them to the current Cornish foodie heroes.

 BIG CHANGES AT KOTA & KOTA KAI 

We’ve revamped our B&B rooms for summer 2017 and they look great.  We have some dates left for the season so give us a call to book in or email on kota@btconnect.com.  Centrally based for exploring Porthleven and the surrounding area including the South West coastal footpath Kota makes a fantastic base, with breakfast over in Kota Kai included with your stay you really can’t beat it.

LOUNGING BY THE BAR IN KOTA KAI

We’ve opened up a new bar in the lounge, at the moment it’s going to be open from 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays but we hope to extend the hours as the season continues.

BRUNCH AT KOTA KAI

We now serve a very exciting new brunch menu on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday mornings from 9.30-11.30am, comprising of delicious treats such as the full Cornish Breakfast (a fantastic vegetarian option available too), home-made muesli with Greek yoghurt and fresh berries, warm home-smoked salmon with avocado and scrambled eggs and the humungous Breakfast burger – the perfect breakfast after a late night! This is only a small taster of the menu as we truly have something for everyone.
